Videocast: Dry and cooler tomorrow

Well, we had some heavy rainfall earlier today, but that has since subsided. And now we've got a couple isolated showers as we go into this afternoon. But more clouds than anything. High pressure starts to build in late tonight and tomorrow. And that's gonna lead to a dry day with anything from partly cloudy skies to possibly even a couple of hours of mostly sunny skies before we get back to clouds and wet weather on Wednesday, just before noon today, we were continuing to see this rainfall kind of taper off and dissipate as this cold front pushing through and then drier air kind of funneling in behind that. So as we go into 6. 37 7 30 tonight, we could see another isolated shower or two. So we're not completely done with the rain, but most of the heavy rain is over with. As we take a look at tomorrow, we're looking at partly to mostly cloudy skies initially, and then I think that ridge of high pressure might just build in strong enough that late afternoon we might even get into a little bit of sunshine before those clouds roll right back in. And we get some scattered showers as we go throughout your Wednesday. So as we go into Wednesday morning and even into the afternoon, some of this could be a little bit more widespread than what this model is showing. But nonetheless Wednesday we will have at least some wet time for some of us as we go throughout the day. Today, temperatures are in the sixties. They're gonna drop a little bit more as we go into the afternoon fifties tomorrow, under again cloudy skies, with maybe some sun breaks. Wednesday we're looking at some scattered showers, and by Thursday Friday, we are going to clear out as we head into Saturday as of now, looking like we'll have a chance of maybe some scattered showers and maybe a couple flurries or some light snow mixing in with that rain at times Saturday in the mountains. But as of now, Sunday looks dry

Dry and warmer weather - WXOW.com

dry.indah.link

Chilly Monday weather…

A shot of colder air settled into the area to start the work week, but it will change quickly for the rest of the week. Highs today were below normal in the 20s to lower 30s, but I expect highs to reach into the 40s, and eventually into the 50s by Sunday afternoon into early next week.

Rain or snow outlook…

Our weather pattern favors a stretch of dry weather will little chance of any rain or snow through the 7 day outlook. You will be able to enjoy the great outdoors with plenty of sunshine!

Dry and mild through Friday, pattern change ahead - YubaNet

dry.indah.link

March 1, 2021 – Dry and mild weather through Friday. Rain and mountain snow return over the weekend.

Discussion

Satellite imagery shows the upper trof along 135W deepening with short-term modeling indicating a large/deep closed will track Swd along 130W before turning Ewd and moving across Socal Wed/Thu. This will nudge the Wrn States ridge axis Ewd into the 4-Corners early this week. Mild Pacific air will remain over Norcal through Wed before cooling during the latter half of the week. Max temps will trend about 5-10 degrees above normal through Wed before trending cooler on Thu and into the weekend. The GFS has out-performed the ECMWF with this pattern, capturing the synoptic pattern days ahead of the ECMWF which didn’t capture the pattern until last Fri (2/26).

As the upper low tracks across the Srn half of CA on Wed/Wed nite, there is at least a chance of moisture/instability in the NE quadrant of the upper low reaching into our zone 69, mainly near the Sierra Crest. Have introduced some low PoPs to account for this possibility. An increase in cloud cover over much of the Srn half of our CWA is likely Wed/Wed nite as the upper moves inland.

5H cluster analysis for Days 3/4 (Thu/Fri) would indicate the potential for a deep trof to develop over the Ern Pac resulting in a change to a cooler/wetter weather pattern this weekend. IVT plume forecasts indicate a weak AR making landfall this weekend. Increasing onshore flow ahead of the deepening trof should begin the cooling trend on Thu.

Extended discussion (Friday through Monday)

Pacific frontal system approaches NorCal Friday, spreading widespread precipitation inland Friday night or Saturday. Model differences exist with timing of this system, but ensembles lean to the more progressive solution.

Snow levels are expected to be around 4000 to 6500 feet. Showers diminish Saturday night as system exits the area. Drier weather expected on Sunday. Another Pacific storm looks to impact the area early next week, however model differences with timing again exist with this system.

Dry, hot weather continues; here’s when rain could return - WKMG News 6 & ClickOrlando

dry.indah.link

ORLANDO, Fla. – A large ridge of high pressure will continue to dominate the region for much of the day Monday before a weak front begins to push south.

Conditions will remain mostly dry through Monday afternoon, with near-record warmth again. Expect afternoon highs to reach the mid to upper 80s by 3 p.m.

Beach Forecast: Tons of sunshine, with highs in the mid-80s along the coast. A moderate to low risk of rip currents will be in effect today with surf at 3-4 feet.

Pollen Forecast: Continued heat and dry weather will cause pollen counts to remain very high throughout the week. Thanks to some rain, we could see a slight dip by Wednesday into the moderate category.

Our next front will reach northern Florida late this afternoon, increasing clouds across far northern portions of the area. Shower activity is not expected to ramp up until later in the day Tuesday.

Transition into a cooler weather pattern begins Tuesday. By the afternoon, few showers will begin to pop up across Central Florida and linger through late Wednesday. With the addition of more clouds and rain, temperatures will begin the downward trend into the low 80s.

Once the front clears by Thursday, expect clear skies and highs back to near normal in the mid-70s.

Temperatures near 50 on Monday; dry, mild weather pattern here to stay - FOX 31 Denver

dry.indah.link

DENVER (KDVR) — A big warm up will begin on the Front Range starting on Monday. Afternoon high temperatures will hit the upper 40s with sunshine and dry conditions. This is near Denver’s average high temperature of 50 degrees for this time of year.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be even warmer with more sunshine and dry conditions. Afternoon temperatures will be in the upper 50s both days.

A cold front will swing through on Thursday knocking high temperatures into the low 50s. The Front Range will only have a 10% chance for an isolated shower with better chances in the mountains.

Friday and Saturday will be a little taste of spring with temperatures at or just below 60 degrees. Next weekend looks mild and dry in Colorado.
