MADISON (WKOW) - Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening in southern Wisconsin.
Best chances will start towards central Wisconsin this afternoon with chances drifting further south into the evening and end in the south after midnight.
The Storm Prediction Center has most of the region under a marginal risk. This is the lowest risk possible.
There could be a few stronger storms that develop that bring some gusty winds up to 60 mph and heavy rains. Cloud to ground lightning is also possible with these isolated storms.
After Wednesday early morning, we dry out. Dry weather dominates the rest of the week. Storm and shower chances likely return Sunday.
Seasonal temperatures also dominate the forecast. Highs in the low 80s.
