Dry, hot weekend ahead in central Pa. - PennLive

A forecast clear from storms is here for the weekend before rain possibly returns to the midstate early next week, forecasters said.

Other than a small chance of rain Saturday afternoon, the weekend is expected to be sunny and hot. Highs could reach into the low to mid-90s, the National Weather Service predicted.

Monday could climb to 96 degrees, according to the NWS. Tuesday’s also thought to reach the 90s, but early forecasts show temperatures could drop into the high-80s later next week.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 89. Slight chance of showers after noon. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Partly cloudy, with a low around 68.

Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 94.

Mostly clear, with a low around 70.

Sunny and hot, with a high near 96.

Mostly clear, with a low around 74. Slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 9 p.m. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tuesday

Partly sunny, with a high near 91. Chance of showers between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3 p.m. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Tuesday Night

Partly cloudy, with a low around 67. Chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9 p.m. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
