A forecast clear from storms is here for the weekend before rain possibly returns to the midstate early next week, forecasters said.
Other than a small chance of rain Saturday afternoon, the weekend is expected to be sunny and hot. Highs could reach into the low to mid-90s, the National Weather Service predicted.
Monday could climb to 96 degrees, according to the NWS. Tuesday’s also thought to reach the 90s, but early forecasts show temperatures could drop into the high-80s later next week.
