The comfortable weather with cooler temperatures and lower humidity has certainly moved in. Doesn't it feel nice coming off that oppressively muggy weekend! A weak disturbance was causing some isolated showers in northern Wisconsin Monday afternoon. They will fall apart in the evening. Skies will clear off with lows in the mid 50s. Light westerly winds are expected.
Tuesday should start sunny but some clouds patches will build in as another disturbance pushes in by the midday. It could bring some brief isolated afternoon showers mainly in the far north part of the viewing area as well as the far south part. Otherwise it will be comfortable again with highs in the upper 70s. West winds of 7-15 mph should becoming northwest late in the day.
High pressure will settle in from Wednesday through Friday delivering fantastic conditions. It looks like we will get lots of sunshine along with lows in the 50s and highs in the upper 70s. It could touch 80 on Friday. It doesn't get much nicer that that for the end of July so be sure to spend as much time outdoors as you can.
Saturday should be partly sunny and just slightly warmer with lows around the upper 50s and highs in the low 80s. A weak front moving in Saturday evening could spawn a few spotty showers or thunderstorms.
High pressure should build back in for Sunday and next Monday allowing for a nice amount of sunshine. Temperatures will stay very nice, reaching the upper 70s during the day and down into the upper to mid 50s at night.
Have a good evening! Meteorologist Tony Schumacher, 2:35 p.m., 27-July 2020
