SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - Some sunshine peeking through our high clouds today was a nice way to hop into the weekend. Overnight it will cool off with a low of 60. We will see clouds increase overnight as a storm system is gathering itself to our South. We remain dry this evening and very comfortable. For those needing some rain, it looks like we have a good chance to see some as Tomorrow evening through Monday.

The first half of the weekend remains dry and warm with temperatures near 80. Then Saturday afternoon the chance for scattered showers comes into play after about 2 pm. The storm to our South will be moving up through Southern Indiana and into Western Ohio. This will bring us the chances for scattered showers and potentially a thunderstorm through Sunday and into early Monday. As that system pulls off to the Northeast another follows bringing more chances for showers through early Tuesday morning. Behind this these systems our mid-summer cool down takes place! Temperatures in the mid 70s and feeling very comfortable through next week.

FRIDAY NIGHT: A cool and comfortable night with increasing clouds. We do remain dry with a low of 60.

SATURDAY: Clouds build in from the South. We are warm but a chance of showers after 2pm

SATURDAY NIGHT: Scattered showers and perhaps some heavier rain moving through. The chance to hear some thunder as well. Low of 64

SUNDAY: Scattered showers possible throughout the day. We start to cool off. High of 78.

Daily Climate Report:

Friday’s High: 85

Friday’s Low: 60

Precipitation: 0.00″
