CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Upper level high pressure has taken back control of our weather for the next several days and will shift slightly north by the end of this week.

This will cause a slight increase in tropical moisture which will drive down our high temperatures by two to three degrees and produce a few stray showers. In the meantime, expect high heat.

Tonight, we will have moonlit skies with our full moon mainly clear and quiet with a low of 73.

Tuesday will be sunny with light winds dry and blazing hot with a high of 97.

Tuesday night we will have clear skies again with a low of 74.

Wednesday will be a bit more breezy during the afternoon with lots of sunshine and a high of 96.

The tropical storm on the east coast of the United States will continue to move along the coast through the end of this week.
