Dry for Now - WGEM

A cold front moving south Thursday may spark some thunderstorms but they should develop south of the Tri-States.We miss the rain but there will be a breezy northwest wind in the afternoon. After the front moves through Thursday night, a cool and dry Friday is in store! A gradual warm-up over the weekend is expected, with a slight chance for rain again Sunday and the unsettled weather will continue through the first half of next week..
The potential exists for unseasonably cool temperatures across the area late next week, but it all depends on where a cold front stalls. If the cooler air mass reaches Missouri and Illinois, high temperatures may only reach the mid-60's!
