Good morning! Did you like yesterday’s warmer temperatures? If so, we have more days like that lined up for the end of the week and weekend. Highs temperatures will be in the upper 70s to near 80, with dry skies. One difference today will be some increasing mid and high clouds in the afternoon. Winds will be light from the west-southwest at 5-10 mph
For those heading to the beach, plan on a mix of clouds and some filtered sun, with on-shore winds in the afternoon keeping temperatures a few degrees cooler than inland spots. Waves are back to 1-3 feet and winds are light.

After a mild evening, partly cloudy skies and some patchy coastal fog are possible late tonight. Lows will once again cool to between 55-60 in most spots.
We’ll be back to mostly sunny skies on Friday. Afternoon highs will climb to near 80.
THIS WEEKEND: Warm, Dry
We have a bonus “summer” weekend on the way. Temperatures will stay warm and skies will stay dry. Highs will be 5-10 degrees above normal both days, with increasing clouds on Sunday.
We are in dire need of rain. It’s been 2 weeks since our last measurable rain at TF Green Airport. And on that day (September 10), we only picked up 0.03″ of rain. Our extreme drought conditions continue. Looking ahead–we are seeing signs of a pattern change, with a couple of chances for showers next week. It won’t be enough to put a major dent in our rainfall deficit, but it will at least break our dry spell.
