Dry and above normal through the holiday weekend - WDJT

Thanksgiving Day turned out to be a rather nice day. Once the clouds cleared out, temperatures were able to warm into the mid to upper 40s across southeast Wisconsin.

That marked Milwaukee’s 20th day above normal this month. Through Thanksgiving Day, this has been Milwaukee’s 4th warmest November with an average temp of 47.8°.

Temps will remain above normal this weekend with highs around 50° Saturday and mid to upper 40s Sunday. However a strong cold front will move through Sunday afternoon and drop temps into the 30s to start next week. Winds will be quite blustery behind the front as well, so feels like temps won’t be above freezing.

Despite the cooldown to start next week, the cold weather doesn’t look like it’ll stick around. The temperature outlook for December 4th-10th has a 30-40% chance of above normal temps. Normal highs that time of year is around 35°.
