Temperatures stay near average most of the week ahead, except for warm weather on Saturday. Meanwhile, drier than average weather continues not just the coming week, but possibly into mid-December.
Friday’s forecast
Now that the clouds have moved out for most of Minnesota, lows Friday started off slightly cooler than the recent mild mornings, from teens north to 20s south. That is still slightly above average for late November, and highs will also run slightly above average, with most of the state in the 30s.

The few lingering clouds in northern Minnesota also finally clear, bringing statewide sunshine by the afternoon and making for a pleasant fall day.
Weekend forecast
If you need to get any outdoor projects done, such as putting up holiday lights or even going for a hike, Saturday is the day!
After starting with temperatures varying from the teens north to 30s south, temperatures soar by the afternoon. A combination of abundant sunshine and warm winds from the southwest will push temperatures over most of the state into the 40s, and much of southern Minnesota will see 50s. That is 10-20 degrees above average, and makes Saturday the warmest day through at least the next week.
By Sunday a front drops highs back to more seasonable 20s and 30s. The cold front that sent temperatures diving also brings back mostly cloudy skies and strong northwest winds. Winds are expected to gust at least 20 to 30 mph, making the day feel even colder.

Here is that forecast for the Twin Cities, although the Saturday temperature could top 50 for parts of the Metro:

Extended forecast
Behind Sunday’s front, even colder air moves in Monday, with highs mostly in the 20s, likely making it the coldest day of the week.
After that, the weather returns to a seasonable pattern for the start of December with highs predominantly in the 20s north and 30s south, and no significant storms in the forecast for the entire week.
The following week also looks rather unremarkable, with the dry pattern expected to continue and temperatures staying near or slightly above average.
