Tonight's Forecast:
A weak disturbance will bring a few light snow showers this evening to Colorado's northern and central mountain ranges, with little snow expected south of Monarch Pass. The energy associated with this storm will also bring gusty winds to the Highway 50 corridor, and the mountains and foothills of Southern Colorado as snow is not anticipated for the Plains.
COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 21; High: 50. Monday will be a mild start to the week for the Pikes Peak Region, with dry skies and a mix of sun and clouds expected throughout the day.
PUEBLO: Low: 18; High: 55. Not as windy as what we saw over the weekend, and therefore, not quite as warm. Nonetheless, we're looking at a great start to your week!
CANON CITY: Low: 27; High: 53. We'll see a mild and pleasant Monday, with highs warming into the lower to middle 50s from Canon City to Florence to Penrose.
WOODLAND PARK: Low: 18; High: 41. Teller County will start out cold on Monday morning before warming into the lower 40s. Breezy southwest winds are expected, especially for the higher elevations.
TRI-LAKES: Low: 10s/20s; High: 40s. Cold morning temperatures will give way to a nearly perfect January afternoon, with light winds and mild afternoon highs.
PLAINS: Low: 20s; High: 50s. Sunshine during the day for the Plains will give way to increasing clouds by Monday night, but no sign of rain or snow to start the week.
WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 20s; High: 40s/50s. Mostly sunny skies and mild highs for this time of the year will make for a great start to the work week.
MOUNTAINS: Low: 0s/10s; High: 20s/30s. Monday's forecast will be dry and windy across the mountains of Southern Colorado. Some snow showers will follow as we head into Tuesday, along with stronger winds.
Extended Outlook:
Another weak storm will push into Colorado on Tuesday. Out ahead of the storm, Tuesday's highs will be quite mild along and east of the I-25 corridor, with some spots warming into the lower 60s. Gusty winds will be the main story, but mountain snow will also be possible during the day, and we can't rule out a few flurries or light snow showers even east of the mountains. Behind the storm, dry and cooler weather will settle in through the end of the week.
