METEOROLOGIST JAY CARDOSI. OH, WHAT A PRETTY DAY. IT TURNED OUT TO BE A CROSS THE REGION ANOTHER DAY FILLED WITH BRIGHT SUNSHINE FROM START TO FINISH THOSE SOUTH BREEZES KICKING UP A LITTLE BIT THROUGHOUT THE COURSE OF THE AFTERNOON, BUT THE NUMBERS WELL ABOVE AVERAGE AND ELEVATED 78 DEGREES TOP TEMPERATURE ON THIS MONDAY AFTER A MORNING START OF 49. YOU CAN SEE THE AVERAGES OF 65 AND 44 TAKE THAT. RIGHT OUTSIDE RIGHT NOW. WE’RE STILL AS WARM AS WE’VE BEEN ALL DAY AT 78 HUMIDITY NICE AND LOW A WEST DE BREEZE IN HERE AROUND 10 MILES AN HOUR ALL ACROSS THE VIEWING AREA. THE NUMBERS ARE BASICALLY 75 TO 80 DEGREES AND WE’RE GOING TO STAY PUT THE NEXT HOUR OR SO. ONCE THE SUN GOES BELOW THE HORIZON MATTER OF FACT, IT GOES DOWN ABOUT 10 MINUTES AFTER EIGHT TONIGHT. THAT’S WHEN THE NUMBERS WILL START SLIPPING BACK THROUGH THE 60S AND INTO THE 50S AS WELL. BUT AGAIN, HERE’S YOUR EVENING FORECAST 76 AT 7 LOWER 70S BY NINE TEN O’CLOCK TONIGHT AND THEN A QUICK FALL TOWARDS 65 OR SO BY ELEVEN O’CLOCK AND AGAIN AS I MENTIONED, I THINK EVERYBODY WOULD BE BACK IN THE UPPER 40S AND LOW 50S BY DAYBREAK. NO RAIN HAVE A FEW SHOWERS OFF TO THE NORTH OF US. THOSE WILL NEVER GET HERE. THEY’RE GONNA STAY. WELL NORTH ALONG THAT WARM FRONT. WE ARE ALREADY IN WHAT WE CALL THE WARM SECTOR OR THE WARM AIR WITH THESE SOUTH SOUTHWEST. SISTERLY BREEZES THAT WARM AIR THE DRY AIR IS GOING TO WIN OUT RIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON ALL ACROSS THE OHIO VALLEY PLENTY OF 70S EVEN STILL 82 DEGREES RIGHT NOW IN ST. LOUIS AS WE PUSH THROUGH THE NIGHT INTO TOMORROW MORNING AND WE’LL SETTLE BACK INTO THE UPPER 40S AND LOW 50S BRIGHT AND EARLY ON YOUR TUESDAY EXPECTING A LOW RIGHT AROUND 53. WE WON’T STAY THERE LONG ANOTHER QUICK WARM-UP ON THE WAY FOR TOMORROW A FEW MORE. CLOUDS THOUGH ON YOUR TUESDAY. WE’LL CALL IT A MIX OF CLOUDS AND SOME SUNSHINE BUT AGAIN WITH THE WINDS FROM THE SOUTH SOUTHWEST THE AIR MASS THE SAME IT’S GOING TO BE AT LEAST AS WARM IF NOT A COUPLE OF DEGREES BETTER TOMORROW LOOKING AT UPPER 70S TO NEAR 80. I THINK WE WILL GET VERY CLOSE TO 80 HERE IN TOWN IF WE GET THERE FIRST TIME THIS YEAR WITH HIGHS OF 80 DEGREES OR BETTER. OKAY RAIN CHANCES. LET’S TALK ABOUT THEM LIKE YOU WANT TO HEAR THIS RIGHT? IT’S FROM THIS SYSTEM OUT HERE IN THE ROCKIES RIGHT NOW WE HAVE SOME HIGH COUNTRY SNOW SOME VALLEY RAIN. THAT’S AN UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM THAT’S GOING TO RIDE THE JET STREAM MOVING OUR DIRECTION AND I’M THINKING VERY LATE LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO THURSDAY AS A FRONT SWINGS THROUGH THE REGION THAT WILL BRING US A CHANCE FOR SOME SCATTERED SHOWERS, EVEN IF YOU THUNDERSTORMS AT THAT TIME LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY UNTIL THAT TIME EXPECTING MORE DRY AND WARM WEATHER HERE YOUR RAIN CHANCES A 40% CHANCE. THURSDAY GOES DOWN FRIDAY AND BUMPS UP AGAIN SATURDAY RIGHT NOW THE PICK OF THE WEEKEND LOOKS TO BE SUNDAY AS DRY SKIES MAKE A RETURN FAIR SKIES AND PLEASANT 70S INTO THE 60S THIS EVENING. WE’LL WAKE UP TO 53 IN THE MORNING A LATE DAY HIGH RIGHT AROUND 80 WITH A MIX OF SUN AND CLOUDS. WE’LL DO IT AGAIN WEDNESDAY LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY A CHANCE FOR A FEW WIDELY SCATTERED SHOWERS AND STORMS. WE DRY IT OUT FRIDAY ONLY TO SEE THE RAIN CHANCE RETURN SATURDAY. A AND AGAIN MY SUNDAY VICKI AND RICK. I THINK WE DRY IT OUT ONCE AGAIN. SO SUNDAY THE PICK OF THE WEEK AND A NICE DAY WITH TEMPERATURES AROUND 70. BUT YEAH TOMORROW AND WEDNESDAY. VERY CLOSE TO 80 GUYS. WOW.
