Temperatures are very cold out the door once again this morning, as several locations have fallen into the upper 20s prior to daybreak. A Freeze Warning will remain in effect through 9 AM.
The Earth Day forecast features mostly sunny skies and afternoon highs in the mid to upper 50s. While it will be warmer than the past few days, temperatures are still projected to top out 5 to 10 degrees below average.
Skies will be partly cloudy again tonight, but temperatures will not be nearly as cold as the previous few nights. Look for lows in the upper 30s and low 40s.
Friday morning will start dry, but rain chances will gradually increase throughout the day. You'll want to plan to have the umbrella nearby for much of the day and into the evening hours. Look for rain to be the story for much of the area Friday night.
Scattered rain showers will continue through the start of Saturday, before drying out for the rest of the weekend. High temperatures will climb to the low 60s both Saturday and Sunday.
An more impressive warm up, into the 70s and 80s is on tap for the start of the work week. That warm up will be followed by the chance for showers and thunderstorms for the middle of next week.
