A day after Denver went under a tornado watch and 10 twisters touched down in Colorado, weather conditions are expected to be much more calm to kick off the week.

Denver will reach a warm 76 degrees under sunny skies on Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

A dry air mass has moved into Colorado, bringing some patchy early morning fog to Denver — and areas of Larimer and Weld counties.

Thunderstorms are not expected in Denver on Monday, but late-night rain showers in the northeast part of the state are possible. Monday night’s low is forecast to dip to 46 degrees in Denver with light wind.

It will be warmer on Tuesday, nearly touching 80 degrees under sunny skies with an overnight low of 52 degrees.

Thunderstorms are possible once more on Wednesday. Denver is supposed to reach 83 degrees with mostly sunny skies and wind gusts over 20 mph could occur.

The week will end warm and dry, while this holiday weekend could be stormy.
