It's another chilly start out the door, with temperatures in the upper 30s and low 40s across our portion of central Illinois. Skies will be partly cloudy throughout the day, with afternoon highs warm into the upper 50s and low 60s.
You'll want the extra layer if attending the Peoria Chiefs home opener this evening, as temperatures are expected to fall to the low 50s by the end of the game.
Another cold night is on tap, with lows in the mid to upper 30s. Patchy frost is likely.
