dry.indah.link

Get ready for a couple stormy days with the first round of storms beginning overnight.

Tonight: The night will start with mostly dry conditions, but storms will move into southeast Louisiana after midnight. Some of these storms could be strong to severe, and we do sit under general, marginal and slight risks for severe weather. Make sure to stay weather aware. Winds will be out of the south at 5-15 mph. Low near 70.

Tomorrow: Storms will continue through the morning into the early afternoon. At times, there could be strong storms and pockets of heavy rain. The biggest threats, however, will be damaging winds and large hail. After midday, it will be mostly dry with a slight chance of showers and storms. Skies will be mostly cloudy. Winds will be southwesterly at 5-10 mph. High near 84.

Extended: Tuesday and Wednesday will be stormy as well, and we could be looking at pockets of heavy rain on both days. We will have to monitor our river levels. Highs will be in the low 80s on Tuesday, and then temperatures will only be in the mid 70s on Wednesday. After that, highs will gradually increase. We’ll be in the upper 70s on Thursday with mostly dry conditions. We’ll be in the 80s over the weekend. We’ll stay mainly dry through Monday.
