Meanwhile, clouds along with fog across the southern half of Nebraska and Northern Kansas will eventually clear out as high pressure builds in from the north. Along with the clearing skies, drier air is spilling in from the north. So those will very humid conditions to start the morning will see drier air in place later today. Low temperatures will drop into the upper 50s and low to mid 60s.
Tomorrow will be a quiet day for most as early fog clears out. There could be some late day showers and thunderstorms in Northern Nebraska. Tuesday may be the warmest day of the week ahead with highs in the mid to upper 80s. A chance for showers and thunderstorms may arrive as early as late Tuesday night (post midnight). The chance will be better heading into Wednesday. Expect high temperatures to return the 80s again on Wednesday.
A slight chance for showers and thunderstorms continues Wednesday night, but a much better chance comes Thursday and Thursday evening.
