CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - Expect another dry day today with highs in the mid-80s. Humidity levels will continue to be lower, so overall not a problem this afternoon. Keep in mind, if you are still cleaning up storm damage, that the UV Index will be high again today and to grab the sunscreen before heading out.
Most of eastern Iowa will be staying dry overnight, but a few scattered showers and storms could impact our northwest zone. Temperatures drop into the low to mid-60s.
Temperatures will stay in the mid-80s through the rest of the week, but dew points rise into the low 70s by the weekend, so you will start to feel the humidity again. Isolated showers and storms could be possible Friday and Sunday, but not everyone will see them. By next week, highs are cooler in the 70s.
