For the first time this week, there is no extreme weather in the forecast.
Humidity levels will be low, temperatures near average and no threats of severe thunderstorms, flooding or tropical storms are in the forecast.

“High temperatures will be near normal and it will feel less muggy than it has for the past several days,” the National Weather Service says.
The National Weather Service says the calm, normal weather will continue through the weekend.
The NWS is keeping an eye on a possible storm system that could bring some rain to southern Connecticut early week. For now, the system is expected to track south of Long Island.
However, if the system drifts north between 1 to 2 inches of rain could fall across southern Connecticut, the NWS says.
On Thursday, U.S. Drought Monitor said 87 percent of Connecticut now has abnormally dry conditions. The only part of the state that has normal conditions is northern Fairfield County and western New Haven County.

Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 84. East wind 3 to 8 mph.
Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 65. East wind 5 to 7 mph becoming north after midnight.
Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 80. Northeast wind 11 to 14 mph.
Saturday Night: A 20 percent chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 62. North wind 8 to 10 mph.
Sunday: A 30 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 76. Northeast wind around 9 mph.
Sunday Night: A 40 percent chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 65.
Monday: A 40 percent chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 80.
