The start of 2021 will look a lot like 2020: mild and dry.
According to the National Weather Service, the chilly start to Wednesday will make way for a 43 degree high under sunny skies in Denver. With little wind or clouds, the remaining snow could melt. Temperatures will dip back down to 20 degrees in the metro area Wednesday night.
More sun and a 46 degree high is in the forecast for Thursday. Clouds will build throughout the day and evening, making for an overcast New Year’s Eve and a low of 23 degrees.
Sun will break the clouds to begin New Year’s Day on Friday with a high of 40 degrees. It should be a bluebird day in the hills for those trying to get a holiday run in. Temperatures will drop into the teens Friday night ahead of possible 50-degree days over the weekend.
