This weekend will be warm… but also rather windy at times, especially on Sunday. Expect lots of sunshine today with highs in the upper 50s to around 60F. Winds today will increase from the south around 10-20 mph, with gusts to 30 mph possible. Keep in mind average highs this time of year are only in the mid 40s.
We’ll see a mix of sun and clouds Sunday, with highs in the low 60s for most. Winds will again be from the south, this time in the 15-25 mph range, with gusts of 30-40 possible. Rain chances with an approaching storm system look like they’ll hold off until later Sunday night.
Weekend Forecast
Looking Ahead… Good chance of rain Monday and Tuesday as low pressure strengthens and slowly lifts northeast across the region. Expect highs in the low-mid 50s both days. It won’t be as windy Monday, but then the winds will pick up again for Tuesday and Wednesday. Scattered showers could linger into Wednesday as the storm pulls away from our area, perhaps even a mix to the north and west where temps will be a bit cooler. Most of our area will see highs Wednesday in the upper 40s to around 50F.
Clouds will be on the decrease Thursday, with seasonable highs in the upper 40s. More clouds than sun next Friday, with highs around 50F. Slight chance of rain showers next Saturday, perhaps a mix in some areas, with highs in the upper 40s.
